The Tissot large box respirator is composed by a rubber sheet mask including a metalic system of pipes allowing the inhaled air to flow against the eyepieces

As the mask is made or soft rubber material,to avoid the mask to collapse against the face, inhibiting the breathing, a kind of wire spring, set in the exhale tube, rests against the face of the wearer under the nose and the mouth.

The inlet tube is connected to the hose by means
of a spring fastener. It is connected to the filter by
a threaded  fitting. The filter is worn on the back
by means of a leather harness.

The exhaust pipe is bended up and is completed by a flutter valve.
