FERNEZ 1938 Civilian Commercial Market

The FERNEZ 1938 mask is of the same design than the C 38.

 The rubber facepiece is a modern and complex moulding and well shaped to fit the face of the wearer. The facepiece do not includes Tissot vents, they are made on the inside end of the metallic filter fitting.

As on the C 38, the exhalation valve, of Fernez design, is located in a steel casing located in front of the mouth.

 

 

The Triplex glasses of the eyepieces are mounted in a plastic holders and tightened on the mask by means of  spring rings

The seven points head harness is made of rubber straps.

Two qualities of rubber has been used, beige and black.

A parallelipipedic steel carrying can with shoulder strap is supplied with the mask

 

 

 

Children size mask

  A child size has also produced. It is generally 
  supplied with a short corrugated hose.
 
  At the filter end of the hose, the connection fitting is
  provided with a neck strap

 

First pos war new production mask

An after war production has been made up to seventies for industrial purposes. As for the C38, a more simple moulding process has been used, allowing a cheaper production. 

           Two models has been produced, both with a 
           C 38 exhale valves.
