| This
mask is similar to the previous Unknown 1 unless the inverted frontpiece,
on which the filter is mounted at the lower place
All other features are identical This mask is a large improvement of the ARS 17 and ANP T 31 and has been probabely designed in cooperation with the French Army as prototype to remplace the ANP T 31. The general layout of this mask seems to be a S.E.C.M.P. design. In his artcle in MILITARIA MAGAZINE, Monsieur LEJAILLE note that this mask was the French Army model T 36. But this mask was never been commissioned and in use in the French Army |
