GP 7   ( Grajdanskii Protivogaz ) Civilian Defense Mask ( about 1980 )

The GP 7 mask is a common side filter model mask. It is made of black shaped moulded rubber including an inside rubber rim for better airproofing on the face of the wearer.

 

As on all Russian post WW II masks, it has a double exhalation valve located under the chin.

 

A voicemeter, located in front of the mouth, is is covered by a setted grid.

 

The common GP 5 filter is delivered with the mask

 

 

GP 7 V ( Grajdanskii Protivogaz ) Civilian Defense Mask ( about 1980 )

The GP 7 V  mask is  an improvement of  the common  left  sided  filter mask

GP 7. It has the same black shaped moulded rubber facepiece but includes a drinking device.

 

 

Both masks are carried in a small canvas bag with shoulder strap

This mask is an improvement of the GP 7 V mask. The only differense is the triangular  shaped Perspex eyepiece glasses.

The mask is provided with a drinking device. 

The common GP 5 or the new GP7 filters equip the mask.
