GP 4  Civilian Defense post WW II
This mask is an improvement of the first GP 4 / MOD – 08 mask. It is of more modern design with a shaped rubber moulding.

Various rubber colours has been used to make the mask.

The frontpiece casing is similar to the first GP 4 but include twin exhale valve.

The six points head harness is made of elasticized straps.

MOD - 08  ( GP 4 )  Civilian Defense end of thirties
This mask has been designed for Civilian Defense. It is the sole known Russian mask to be without a hood unless actual, post sovietic production.

The facepiece is a flat rubber moulding, without Tissot tubes, the glass eyepieces are tightened on the mask bycrimped rings.

The breathing hose is directly monted on the steel frontpiece casing, the exhale valve is located at its bottom.

A large filter is screwed at the end of the long hose.

The mask I show is unfortunately partially destroyed
