The facepiece design makes to have the mask very close to the face, the mouth, just in front of the exhale valve, allowing the use of an external microphone.

The mask has an rubber corrugated breathing hose directly mounted on the facepiece.

The common military filter is screwed on the hose end. The mask illustrated is equiped with a M 42 Pirelli filter.

The mask is carried in a bag equiped with a shoulder strap.
