Hood mask of very close desing to the German Volksmaske M 37, it is made of moulded and glued green rubber sheeting.

It has a bakelite front piece in place of the metallic one of the VM 37 mask but has the same model of flutter exhale valve as on the VM 37, directly glued on the facepiece. .

The Triplex glasses are tightened on the facepiece by means of crimped rings.

A narrow rubber strap is located at the rear edge of the hood to adjust the hood on the head if it is needed.
